Default Loader problems..'powered down' stops working

My loader has been having a repeating (but infrequent) problem....the loader joystick will occasionally fail to activate 'bucket down' function. I will be able to push the joystick forward to activate float, but will not be able to find 'powered down'. This has happened 3 times, and each time 'powered down' returns in a minute or 2.

Any ideas on what is causing this...how to fix?

Thanks

Yep..happened to me and I figured it out quick.

Bet you were using your 3PH at the time.

The 3PH lever for up and down doesn't automatically go back to center, it's easy to leave it in the full up or full down position. When you do.....you get the exact problem you describe.

Always make sure your 3PH lever is in the middle after you have raised or lowered it and your loader should be fine.

Same thing here with the 3PH lever. I got my scare while plowing snow last winter. Use a rear blade in reverse and the FEL in forward. When the "problem" repeated itself several times I had a few choice words slip out before I discovered the cause was me.
