I have a M6040 with the industrial tires and recently purchased the lienbach 7300 auger for some post holes I need to dig. The problem is the tractor won't raise the auger high enough. I have tried every adjustment there is and it still won't work. Even contacted Lienbach and they sent the supposed high arch for the lift arms. Still doesn't raise it high enough. I think it is the same arch as the standard personally measured raise from ground is the same. Just wanting to know if anyone else has run into the same problem and how did you fix it if you have. Thanks Nathan

Nathan,
I have a lineback as well but not as big tractor... 3830.. I had a simliar issue... and I solved it by using the bottom hole on my top link...and screwing it out until I get it off the ground... it took a little trial and error but now it does not drag... Not sure if this will help your situation or not but that is how I solved the issue for me... Maybe some pictures might help of your set-up Good luck

I fixed the problem. Took a piece of 2" pipe and extended the arch by 6 inches on each side. Now I have a long arch for sure. Tractor picks up auger off of ground by about 6 inches now. If I would do it again I would use 2 7/8 pipe and sleeve it instead of but welding it. Thanks for your help!!
