That is ingenious. I've thought about how much easier it would be to build a shed by the house where I have all my tools and a level surface, but I had always thought about building it in pieces and then taking it out to the field and putting it together. This opens up a whole new option. I may try something like this.
thanks
A buddy of mine recently moved a small cottage from the bottom of a hill by a lake by building a new foundation and basement just behind the cottage, on the hill side. He then jacked the whole house up on 6 x 6 cribbing, six inches at a time.
Once it was at the height of the new foundation, he opened the front door, hooked a chain to a huge eyebolt in the middle of the floor, and dragged it onto the foundation with his L35.
