The dynamic duo. They both have their place on my property. 500' blacktop driveway -- very poorly situated. LOTS of blowing and drifting snow.

The ATV is good for lighter snows and/or cleanup. It's small, light, fast and easy on the lawn.

The B3030 with the FEL and blower can bust through anything we get and dig out any major drifts that the ATV can't handle.

Together they do the job nicely.

If I'd gotten the tractor first, I'd never have bought an ATV or plow to go with it. But as long as I already owned the ATV/plow when I bought the tractor, it makes sense to keep it.

I like your cab and tinted glass! I have a "Carhart Cab" for my 3030 but no tinted windshield yet. Great idea.

Cab and windshield are easily removable each time I park the tractor.

Excellent I love the chains on all four tires. Did you have to reverse the front wheels (as I did) to accommodate the chains?

I also have a lighter weight orange Cabela's "cab", but it's for the not-so-cold days.

I did NOT have to reverse the front wheels. Chains fit perfectly, and I can turn the steering wheel lock-to-lock without worrying about the chains hitting the sheet metal steering shaft shield.

I did have one of the links on the rear brushing up against the fender, but it didn't even rub the paint off - just need to twist that portion so it stays clear. Pretty tight fit, though.

I have a similar plow for my ATV, but I buried it in the storage shed so I wouldn't be tempted to get it out this winter, after cursing being without my hydraulics for one winter. I have thought about hooking it back up for the small storms, but the tractor is still faster, and a lot more "fun".

Here is what I use.

My Toro is about 18 years old. It is called an 824 Power Shfit. The wheels articulate (forward and back) to increase down force on the blower. This unit has been a back saver. I've only had it serviced once in the 18 years and its still starts on the first or second pull.

That is the exact thrower I have! The 824 has been the most reliable unit I have ever had. The only replacment parts I have ever needed are the skis.

Me, too! That sure looks shinier than mine, however--

Mine still starts on the second pull after sitting for weeks, but I have had to replace the impeller once and the impeller bearing twice (rocks). Am now on the 4th set of belts-- but it's still a lot safer than the tractor/blower close to the house & garage.

Replaced the leaking shut-off valve with a piece of copper tubing this winter-- but all in all it has been very dependable. The Power Shift feature, before I got the tractor & blower, was very useful for going up my rather steep drive and still keeping the business end on the ground. Guess mine must be 14 or 15 years old, too. Seems like it must have several hundred hours on it. Don't plan to get rid of it any time soon!

It was barely affordable for us when we bought it, but has turned out to be a good investment. I'm looking forward to the M-F GC2310 being the same.
