For sure the blower should be 6"-12" wider than the wheels otherwise you will be compacting snow with your wheels.
I operate 60" with a 4ft track on a 20ish
HP PTO.
Small snow fall= full pass. Deepish (8-12")=1/2 pass.
Very deep, like 16-20"= raise blower 4" and double pass followed by half wide passes.
Also if blower is exact same as wheel width you can't turn while blowing as your outer front wheel will be in unblown snow.

FEL, you simply raise it higher than the snow otherwise you won't turn as the bucket sides will stear you straight due to side pressure.
