I have a L3940 that isn't at the house and I'm making some clamp on pallet forks at the house. I have the LA724 loader w/ the quick attach round 72" HD bucket. I don't have the cutting edge or toothbar installed.

I'm trying to figger out how far the pallet forks should extend both into and under the bucket and where the clamp should be in the bucket as well as how much space I should allow for the thickness of the bucket lip.

Can anyone help me with the depth of the bucket floor before it starts to angle up and the thickness of the bucket lip?

The specs show a bucket depth of 18.8" but I think the flat part of the bucket floor is probably about 14" from the lip b/f it angles up. I am thinking to extend the forks both 14" under the bucket and 14" into the bucket. The clamp bolt would be about 12" in the bucket and I'll allow 1/2" depth.

Will this work?
