Check chains on bush hog
1st off, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY ! ! !
Now: I have always used check chains on previous tractors & bush hogs so I can let the hog float at a certain height & not gouge the ground in the front. I now have a Kubota Grand L3240 tractor & a Woods Brush Bull BB60 hog. There is a check chain assembly available from Woods which could just as easily be cobbled up in the shop. However, the rear pto shaft guard on the tractor is in the way of the chains on their way from the hog up to the top link bracket of the tractor. Has anyone figured out a good way to use check chains on this combination?? Any ideas??
