I have a 2002 BX 2200 with a LA211 FEL. Each winter and spring I have to remove the loader valve from the FEL and mount it on the tractor to operate the snowblower quick hitch, see photos below. It is a royal pain to get the pins out and the valve off the loader and remount each spring. I can see why all newer versions have the loader valve mounted on the tractor at all times. Today I picked up a loader valve via Craig's List and all mounting hardware for a later version of the BX2200 where the loader valve stays on the tractor. The valve was used with a front blade and quick hitch. The seller upgraded to a FEL and had to change out the valve, hence my find, been looking for a awhile, 3 hour drive 1 way and $150 and the valve was mine.
My spring project will be to convert the loader valve I picked up today to mount on the tractor when using the snowblower. I will leave the old FEL valve on the loader permanently and not have to take it off on each spring anymore.
So my question is for those who have my old set up, have you done this conversion?? If so, how did you mount the valve, plumb lines, etc.
