how do I get the plastic cover off the loader valve, It doesn't seem to have any bolts holding it on. the manual say to lube the pivots for the joystick every once in a while but I can't get to them with that cover on.
On my L3830 there are three bolts on the underside: the upper two and the next down on the right. You can see the rods that hold these three bolts when you slide out the rubber boot. Then I removed the cover after forcing it through the lever that locks the loader (could not remove its plastic handle). If anyone knows how two remove the plastic round handle from the lock lever and the stick I would really appreciate any information.
just took a look at the ipl for the valve and it appears that there is one screw holding it on from the underside.
the highest screw and closest to the tractor, will try it out this week and see if it is the right one.
