I'm getting ready to weld ends onto cylinders for my Top N Tilt. But I'm not sure what the best direction is to have the cylinder ports facing so that the hoses don't hang in the way of anything and don't get pinched when using various implements.

Can you guys give me some suggestions/examples (with pictures preferably) of what has worked or not worked for you?

Thanks.
Jeff

Can't help you on the tilt but for the HTL I had to turn mine at an odd angle, after I crushed one of the steel lines going into the check valve and broke 1 of the hose fittings, at first I had the hoses closer to the front and sticking straight up, they hit the steel PBY bracket, this was a check valve equipped cylinder so yours may be different.

I'd say for HTL come out the side if there's anything in the way coming out the top, for the HSL or tilt cylinder I would think straight out the back.

First pic is what definitely did not work :( the 2nd pic is what does work :)

JB.
