guys,
as you all know i traded out of bx 50 series tranny jerksville. the bx2360 is a far smoother diesel than the bx1850 i initially purchased.
i want to mate a rtr tiller to the bx2360. 3/4 of the property (2 acres), has never been tilled. i'm told it could be a bit rocky, parts of my property were excavated to build a golf course. when i traded the little bx for the bigger little bx (the bx2360), the tractor came with a land pride qh -15 series quick hitch. in my fantasy world, it's one attachment on, then off.
i have no offset capability with the hitch on the bx. so i figured i could make slow passes as needed. using a tiller to cover my tracks.
my intention is to clear and prep my property for a rolling areas of turf type tall fescue (4 to 6 inch tilling depth).
would any of the many kubota professors on call weigh in on the max i can handle with this bx2360, tiller width wise, reverse tine with slip clutch wise.
i have archived.
regards, shrekbelly
p.s. i ordered an ez landscaper attachment for my future tooth bar work, i'll review when i get and use it. rs

Your manual will provide this information in the back, but from experience it is on the conservative side. My dealer said the most mt BX2660 would handle was the RTR05 with 50" width and after using it, he was right. The manual recommended a 42" max.

my dealer also suggested a rtr 0550 for the bx2200 when I had it. The bx2200 handled the rtr 0550 with no problem at all. cost of the rtr 0550 was $1595.00. the 1050 might be ok. I would think the 1058 would be too much. I have a 1058 now on a b3200. cost of the rtr 1058 was $1895.00.
