| NEW BX25 comming.. What upgrades do I want? Hello, I should be getting my new bx25 w/ r4 tires and a Land Pride Box blade next week. I got this for $16,400 plus $125 Fees FYI.
I am already looking for all the upgrades I need for it. I have come across several different sites while searching the forums for hours. Bro-Tech was one and I was looking at getting the following from them.
Front Skid
Rear Skid
Thumb
Ripper Tooth w/ Trencher
Steering Guard w/ Tool Box
Rear Wheel Spacers
I also have seen a thumb from Wallenstein and wondered if I should get it or the Bro-Tech one.
I am looking at getting either a Land Pride PHD or a Woods.
What other upgrades or implements should I look into getting? Any input would be great. Thanks for your time! |

| Re: NEW BX25 comming.. What upgrades do I want? Definitely skid plates, buy or make your own but as someone posted before, as soon as you don't put one on, off come the fan blades!!
I love my thumb, don't know about wheel spacers. I guess that depends on your property.

| Re: NEW BX25 comming.. What upgrades do I want? Suicide knob and fill the rear tires. Having the backhoe on the back makes great ballast, but loaded tires lower your center of gravity a lot, and will let you use the loader without the backhoe on.
You can never have too much weight on these little tractors

You can never have too much weight on these little tractors | loaded tires alone is not enough to operate the loader with . The BH is around 600 pounds removing it and replacing with filled tires leaves you several hundred pounds short on needed ballast.
