Add a step
Gettin older and the knees don't eork so good anymore..
Has anyone added a step to a B-7800 to make gettin' on and off easier?

have seen some advertised, but was afraid of lowering the ground clearance.
around here there's elevated concrete slabs for getting on and off your horse and in and out of carriages. just build a little set of wood steps and put it next to where you keep your tractor.

also, i was concerned with having something bolted to the frame that would do more damage to the tractor if i drove over something and bent the step. like the suv tire holders that bend the back door and bust out the glass in a minor accident.

My step on my L2800 stayed bent because of the ground clearance issue so following the advice of someone else here I made one out of chain. It's still doing fine over two years later. Here's a pic. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/a...tep-small-.jpg

Here's the step I put on my B2320. The bar going back from the step keeps it from flexing and if ground clearance isn't a problem it works fine.
Kubota L3430HSTC w/72" front mounted snowblower, Kubota B2320 w/FEL, Allis-Chalmers D10, 60" Bush Hog, 3pt. woodsplitter, Goosen 3pt. chipper/shredder, Woods rototiller, Landpride GS1548 grading scraper.
