I've only had my B7610 for a short time, but today, I noticed that I think the hour meter (which is in the tach) is based on RPM (which makes sense for maintenance), instead of clock time. I came from a B7100, which had no tach, so the hour meter was a basic hobbs-styled that just measured time.

I had 132.6 when I start working this morning at around 9:30am, and at noon, have just 133.5. I wasn't running it the whole two hours, but I'm pretty sure I was running it for a good bit more than 1 hour. I was mostly pulling my landscape rake, so I was running at 1500 RPM (PTO power is 2600 RPM).

Thanks,
Jay

My bx24 is time based. And usually when I'm on my tractor, I tend to lose track of time which can equate to either more or less time than I think it is :D.

My B7800 is RPM based (the tachometer/hour meter runs from the engine via a flexible speedometer-type cable). I suspect yours is too.

This brings up a good point. I may log and time hack some operations to check that. I have actually left it running when I went to lunch.
