bx 25 mid pto stays on

My mid pto stays on and prevents my bx 25 from starting??
It will shut off if you switch to the rear pto but comes on when switched back to the middle.Lever is in the off position for the pto/
Strange, tractor will be going back to the dealer soon just thought I`d see if anyone else every seen this problem.

are you saying the saftey switch for mid pto seems malfunctioning ? If so, it probably just a defective switch. I find it odd that the lidpto switch is malfunctioning. I do know that sometimes the levers seems off at times when trying to start.

I assume that the PTO engagement lever is set to disengage. I have had an issue with the PTO Engage lever safety switch. The switch has room for adjustment and slid back to the farthest end. I moved it forward and tightened it and never looked back.

I thought the same thing as well when I saw your screen name. I am from Sydney as well. I live in Ottawa now and also have a BX25. I was just in your neck of the woods 2 weeks ago visiting family.
