BX2350 front tire chain info-homemade

I have an old set of chains that I would like to cut-up to fit the front of my BX2350 with R4 tires. Could someone measure yours from sidelink to sidelink.

If you can wait until late March when they come off I'd be glad to. Otherwise just measure the width of your tire and add an extra 1.5-2 inches on each side.

Thanks for the help, gives me something to do this weekend. Lask weekend we had 26inch of snow and another 8 on Wednesday. Do you also use a FEL with the chains on, if so how well does the front chains help out?

I have not had a load in the FEL since installing the chains. I just use the back blade for moving snow. When I'm pulling a full blade of this heavy wet stuff, going up the steepest part of my driveway, the tractor just barely starts slipping. I have chains all around but without the fronts, I'm sure I would have to back off a little. Last year, under the same conditions with no chains, I just barely made it up carrying the blade with the diff. locked. Almost had to abort and back down.
