    Default bx tubes

i guess, i''ll have to go the tube route for one or both of my fronts on my bx2360.
since i admit to being an idiot, can anyone advise me on a tube size or are the tire dimensions enough, for the boys at the local sears tire or walmart center?

    regards, D902 BX PILOT

Tire size is all you should need. Not sure on this size of tire but they may have tubes with different valve stem styles and locations. Make sure you get ones that will work with your rims.

not sure of your tire size but my BX24 has a 18x8.50-10 size tire which is just about impossible to find a tube for, tire shop sold me tubes that are sized 18x8.50-9.50 as a alternate size which did fit ok

oh man ! yesterday when I needed the bota to move 89 bundles of shingles from trailer to garage, the front right tire was flat. I put air in it and dunked it in my pool. I found the bead on the back side is leaking a tiny bit. Not sure if I am gonna get tubes or try bead sealant. any ideas anyone ?

I had a can of bead sealant from several years ago. It was still good . For some reason, that company doesn't make it anymore. I broke the bead on both sides, tried to smooth the rim surfaces with medium emery paper, brushed the sealant into the rim and the tire bead. It's been holding air for a month now without any loss. Hope this helps.

Quit telling about bead sealant....unless your going to share with us.
Thought you were going to find us a place to get it. Take your can to a Lab or something and have them make us some.

[Assuming no rim damage] Bead leaks are sometimes due to the tire bead moving very slightly from its longtime position on the rim during hard use. This is usually because the inflation was not adequate for that use. These can sometimes be made to reseal. Deflate your tire and wash [or pressure wash lightly] the seated bead area. Then reinflate to max pressure and immediately use the tire for a high load chore for a while. Often the bead will reseat air tite. Stay at max pressure for a few days before lowering the pressure to your preferred inflation.

In keeping with the spirit of TBN, I promise to get on it. But without a digital camera, you'll have to imagine what a can of it looks like.
