Kubota L4610, what would you do?
We have a Kubota L4610 HST, cab, 4wd. It has approx. 900 hrs, but does have blow-by. We are looking to move up to a M5040. Would you spend the money to fix the L4610 and trade-in or sell it? Or get rid of it as is?

Your question is a good one and a matter of integerty. What kind of an image do you want to project of yourself to a future business partner?
Most engines will develop blowby at sometime in their life and there are several causes and remedies.

Re: Kubota L4610, what would you do?
I hope I haven't mislead anyone. I would definitely disclose the blow-by info to whomever was buying or taking as trade. I just did not know if it would make enough difference in price for me to take the time and headache to fix it. If I spend $3000 in the shop to get it fixed and only get $3300 more for it, then it's not worth it. But if a $3000 investment could yield me $6000 more, then it would definitely be worth it.
