Kubota B7100
I just got my "new" B7100 HST E as described in another thread. I'm trying to identify the MMM on it, of which the label is partly gone. I can read RC60-7 but the rest is missing. I did some research and I am guessing it is either an RC60-71 which was native to the B7100 or perhaps an RC60-72 that was adapted. There has been lots of welding and things clearly don't all look original, so it's hard to tell. Perhaps someone who knows these decks can identify it from the pictures below or tell me what other information or pictures would nail it down. Many thanks!

Maybe one of these parts manuals will help your ID it.

Thanks--I found two parts lists for RC60's there, one an RC60-72B and the other and RC60B. Neither of these is quite a match, but it's helpful to have those and to at least move in the right direction by process of elimination!

I've got an RC60-72H and yours looks nearly identical to mine without the belt covers on it.

I currently have a post up trying to figure out how to install the belt and I think the pics you posted may have solved one of my issues. Mine has 2 bolts right by the path the belt takes around the pulleys, but I cant tell if there are any rollers missing. Does yours have and addiitonal rollers or guides besides the 3 pulleys and the tensioner?

Can you post a picture of your deck with the covers off? I'm in the middle of a bad thunderstorm here right now (amazed internet is still working and I'm wireless and unplugged), and when it let's up I need to scoot out of here, but if I can get a look at it on the way out or a better picture I will for sure.

Here are the pics of my deck. Sorry for the quality - all I had was the camera phone, and it's awful sunny out here. The first pic is the deck itself, covers off. The next two are the two bolt thingies that I would think should have rollers or something, since I would think that the belt will rub against them. The belt that's on there is the old broken one that I was experimenting with.

My best guess is that those are guides for the belts, and maybe also help hold the belt guards up off of the pulleys, but that's a guess and I'll defer to those here with more experience.

There are guides like that on my riding mower that help keep the belt in place when it is slack, which it is when the deck is disengaged, but the deck on these is engaged and disengaged with the pto clutch, so the belt would never get as slack as it does on my riding mower. Just my two cents.

I was dodging lightening bolts when I left the house today, so didn't get to look further at mine. We had four inches of rain in about two and a half hours, major flash flooding, barely made it to town. No problem once I hit the interstate. But now I'll need to get a grader blade to fix my driveway!

I have the RC60-71B on my B7100HST and this is not the same deck.

Here is a picture of mine, showing the belt routing and the posts you are wondering about. Hope this helps.

With the belt tight, it doesn't contact those posts it seems.
