So... I finally got around to installing my radio...I decided since I had an extra Sony CD deck (left over from my Jeep project) , might as well put it to use. Also had two speakers from same project..
Picked up a marine waterproof enclosure and an flexi antenna from Ebay for $12, $7 ...Low cost project...so far
It popped into my head yesterday that now, I would do the install. You know that feeling, doesn't matter what else is going on...the mind says, "Get that radio installed"
Now where is the head unit...
Not on the bench with the jeep parts!
Not in my trailer with the Harley and large jeep parts!
Not in the basement with my electronic parts!
Not in my tool shed! Who knows?
Not on ANY of the shelves in the garage!
NOT ANYWHERE!! ARGH!!!!
So, Out to Advance Auto and grabbed a $75 pioneer cd head unit..... ARGH$75
Its all installed...Ran out of flexloom, but will grab some today...
Sounds Great, 2 speakers, One over right shoulder and one in left front corner, Needed music facing rear for splitting wood...
All on a relay, so It can't get left on...
Where did the head unit go? Maybe I accidently tossed it, but I bet when I walk into the garage today it'll be sitting right in the middle of the bench, Back form its time warp!!!!:confused2:
