I am having ongoing problems with the hydraulic hoses intended to fit the rear remote on our one year old M5040HD and two dealers are providing conflicting information on which fittings are correct.
First...What is the series of quick disconnects on the Kubota factory rear remote?
One dealer says they are ISO-7241-1A ( Parker 6600 series)
Another dealer's parts man says they are ISO-7241-1B (Parker 60 series)
The factory ones installed on the rear valve do not have the spring loaded knurled outer collar I am familiar with on traditional Pioneer 4000 quick disconnects but I am being told that these simply push in or pull out with sufficient hand pressure. I have applied as much force as I can... yet these fittings will not go in.
As luck would have it the identification numbers on the female fittings are both on the bottom side and I am unable to read them. Poor eyesight doesn't help...
So far I have tried both ISO-A and ISO-B male fittings and have been unsuccessful getting either to install in the female fittings.
This is with the tractor engine off and the control valve moved each direction to bleed off any pressure.
Can anyone with a M5040 confirm what male fittings are correct for these quick disconnects and provide any helpful procedure for installing and removing the rear implement hoses?
Thanks...
