Anyone have an idea where I can find a operations manual for a Kubota K-348-7 rear deck mower. It may be referred to as a B-348-7 also? Rebuilding one and the manual may help....

i picked up a K348-7, 1/2 the drive line is missing

getting this operations manual seems like a great start for my project of making this work for me

If you could share. that would be great

I will need to replace the drive line

According to posts from years ago, you need to search for a B348 not a K348.

Messicks has parts listings for these mowers.

There is nothing unique about the driveline aka pto shaft.
There are much cheaper places to buy pto shafts than Messicks who want $400.

You need to fit the pto shaft for correct length regardless of where it comes from.
Youtube has lots of videos on how to do this.

Thanks. It is definitely a K348-7 serial and sticker show. Do you know what the difference is from a K and B? I am not having luck finding any manuals, although I did find the B parts diagram on kubota's site.

Fortunately the tractor (B1500) and mower were mated and I have the original PTO shaft, tiny sucker.

I believe your machine is an older one. Kubota has sometimes changed part numbers and model numbers to work in their system upgrades.
Especially when the implement is one they had another company make for them.

In 2011, in post #3, LHOYER seemed to have a manual.

On a long shot I would send him an email.
He is not posting regularly on the forum but may still be reachable.

Anyone looking for this manual, I uploaded it to manualslib.com
Search for Kubota K-348-7
Here is the link if it works:

It seems to go under a couple names:
K-348-7, K348-6
B-348-7, B348-7 (Messicks, you can find parts with this search)

At least that will stop the ebay scum and PDF pirates from selling copies for ridiculous prices at least.
