Kubota L3710 hst (pto and hst problem)

Our 2001 Kubota L3710 hst with 8300 hrs on it has a few problems (Problem 1) it recently has had the pto stop working. We assume you split the case between the rearend to get at the clutch. Is there anything we need to know to do this. (Problem 2) Tractor for a number of years lurches backwards for a second everytime you let the clutch out (dangerous when hooking up equipment), it will even do this with the forward pedal completly engaged. We have checked all external linkages and they seem to be in spec. Our guess is a priority valve or relief is sticking. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem with my L3710 hst and the PTO not working. Did you have to split the tractor at the rear end to get at the PTO clutch? If so, how difficult was the job and do you need special tools to reassemble?

Yeah .... fairly impressive I'd say.
