So i parked my L3800 with BH77 last night with the boom all the way up and curled in and when i got up this morning it was on the ground. Is this normal? the dealer said that its normal for it to fall a certain amount per hour? i think this is crap how can a new machine do this?

I have a Woods BH and it would do the same thing over a couple day's (they said it's normal). A couple months ago it started doing it in a few minutes. If I had it all the way up and moved from one side to the other it would fall all the way down. I took it in and they found the pistons were scored by debris inbetween the internal seals. Keep an eye on how fast it falls and if it starts falling faster than you might have a similial issue.

Good grief man, your going to die a young age from all the tractor stress you induce on yourself lol. Its totally normal. L48's did it, alot of smaller hoes do. The check valving to hold up that weight is expensive. The mini exes with pilot contols will hold position. You should have a storage latch or pin to hold it up. Use it.

your telling me, i have had more stupid issues with this kubota. Half of them i have not even posted about.

I bet the dealer has picked up my tractor and taken it back to there shop 10 times since i bought this thing 2 months ago.

4 times for a leaky hydraulic fitting (that still Leaks)

its been obsurd.

I feel ya with the hydro line leaks my B3300su had a few leaks on FEL and BH when I got it but I repaired them myself with a little Teflon tape, I know many say not to use it but I used it sparingly and made sure it was on correctly. Also on the backhoe sag LOL yea if I don't lock my BH77 in the up position it will fall overnight it happens. Enjoy the tractor bud.

Without the retention pin installed, it will leak down.

My boom will bleed down too if I don't latch the uplock on my Bradco/Mahindra 511. The bucket droops also.

All hydraulics have an allowable leak down.
For example our fork lifts at work are allowed 1" per hour for the mast per the oem is normal and 2 1/2" per hr is were they suggest rebuilding the cylinder or valve.

I'll throw my 2 cents at this - Whenever a tractor is shut off everything should be lowered to the ground so if the valve levers move nothing else does. On a backhoe, the transport lock can be used - but resting it on earth is safe and easy.

On the leak-down issue, they all do it - some more than others. Pilot-operated check valves help, but piston seals can still allow some creep.
