I was replacing my bearings on my bx2750 snow thrower and I noticed on the lower sprocket there was a bolt going throug the sprocket and shaft. I looked at the parts diagram and do not see that bolt. I bought the snow thrower used. I am wondering if that bolt is suppose to be there and if it is, is it suppose to be a shear bolt? If I remove the bolt the sprocket just spins on the shaft. Not sure what is going on!!!

I do see it on the 2750d My model blower is bx2750B Also where the bolt is on the B model is not in the same place as on mine on the D model it is just thru the shaft and the union mine is thru the shaft and sprocket.

The newer version of the part(s) in question involve a single component, not two bolted together.

I had an older parts listing and when I tired to order both parts, the counter staff looked at me like I was crazy.

Your older version would require the bolt.

Thanks for the response. Do you know what kind of bolt is needed since it is not on the newer parts diagrams?
