Re: Got a "Piranha" toothbar from BXpanded
Would this fit on a 7100HST? I would think the bucket is the same size.

Email me at contact@bxpanded.com with the exact inside dimension of your bucket. We make them to fit.
Thanks, Harry

Re: Got a "Piranha" toothbar from BXpanded
Has anyone used both the Piranha and a conventional toothbar on the same tractor, digging in the same soil, so a real comparison can be made?

I have a tooth bar and the racket rake. This looks like it would clear small trees and brush better.
Do you make for that will fit a 72 inch bucket.Kubota 2012 M7040 Cab

Re: Got a "Piranha" toothbar from BXpanded
Well that looks good, I cant see any damage on your bar, I am a cautious person, when something new comes on the scene I like to sit back and wait for a while and see how it goes, but I need a toothbar, and that looks good and offers what looks like nearly the function of the ratchet rake of being able to grub out brush and small saplings too.. I think it would work for that anyway. If I may suggest one thing, on your install, to get two more nuts and maybe a washer or 2 and cover the rest of the threads on those bolts before they are "booger'd" beyond repair by rocks and ordinary wear. Just tighten them against the existing nuts by the "double nutting " technique with 2 wrenches. and they should stay. That way if you need to take it off you wont have to fight with ruined threads.
Thanks for reporting back.

Re: Got a "Piranha" toothbar from BXpanded
Thanks for the tips guys.. I believe mine can handle the slicing into the base of my hills OK. I'm not going but a few feet in and that would be about 2ft of so high on average. It will be a long drawn out summer project that will continue on till the day I roll over..
My projects materialize over a great deal of time. I don't like upsetting nature all at once. It's more of an evolution of sorts.
I will most likely have some dig out the drive. There will be enough collateral damage work to keep the Kubota busy.
My buddy down the street has a Bobcat. We have already talked of swapping out each others work and or equip.

Re: Got a "Piranha" toothbar from BXpanded
To those that have the Piranha, do you know if you would be able to loosen the bolts/nuts and "spin" the toothbar up into the bucket if you wanted to? Sort of laying back inside the bucket, rather that removing it altogether. Hope I'm asking that in a way that makes sense...
