Default Stabilizer bleeds off when stored

    Question:
Storing my kubota B7800 with the backhoe stabilizers in the up position, I find one of them has dropped down to the ground. No leaks, hydraulic fluid is full and clean.
    What might cause this?
    Thanks,
    Fred

Cylinder is letting a little fluid pass by the seal, pretty common. If it bleeds down in hours that's probably a bit too much, but if it takes days that's not surprising.

I had this happen and now use a rubber bungee to keep them up when stored.

Takes a few days for them to start dropping a little and then it goes fast because there is more leverage/weight as the arm extends.

One guy spent money to have his cylinders rebuilt and found the problem was in the spool valve control...

MY out riggers had a hole through them so I put some eye bolts through the holes and use a piece of swing set chain to hook them together to keep them in the upright position. Works great.
