Looking for tips to fix my old Kubota tractor. Had overheating problems, and a cooling system flush seems to have worked. But the loss of power makes the tractor barely usable. Sorry, I am in different location from the tractor. But the model number starts with DT29..

jalderese, I always notice posts that say "old" and "Kubota". I'm experienced in both. Is this tractor maybe an L295DT ?

Lack of power may be something simple unless there's smoke too. If it runs clean but just low on power, look for clogged air filter, clogged fuel filter, restriction in the fuel tank, broken or disconnected governor or diesel pump linkage. Gas engines are about spark and fuel - but diesels are only air and fuel. Keep looking - you'll find it. Take care, Dick B
