Kubota BX2200
I want to add a FEL to my BX2200. Since Kubota no longer makes the LA 211
and I can't find a used one what are my best options? Can the LA 243 be
adapted by drilling new holes in the frame and using the BX 2014 four position
control valve? I am a decent welder and don't mind a little fabrication.

The Woods LS72 looks like a reasonable alternative but I have no idea on
the price as I don't have a woods dealer within 100 miles.

This tractor is a project I picked up for $1000 on Craigslist and have been
rebuilding so I am not interested in selling it and just buying one with a
FEL already installed.

I called my dealer Monday and was told he can still order the LA211 loader.
He said they do a run of them a few times a year. I don't need the valve &
he said he can no longer order it without the valve. I'll probably get a Woods
since it can be ordered without the valve. It should save me $500 to $600.

The two dealers I talked to said they were unavailable but would try to
find a used one or get me a price on an aftermarket loader. Checked
back with both dealers (about a month apart) a couple of times and
was told they were checking then heard nothing more.

I will be in Sacramento later this week and have an appointment to
talk with them Friday morning. Hopefully I can get something ordered.

My dealer just happened to have one "out back" that had been sitting there for years. Kind of stumbled into a LA211.

Try contacting several dealers until you find one that is more proactive in locating one for you. One of them may know where one is.

Dolk Tractor in Rio Vista is very cooperative. Green Valley Tractor in Suisun/Fairfield is also a good bet.
