I just took delivery on a used 2011 M7040 HDC(142 hrs on tach) that has NO operators manual. Does anyone know what I need to adjust so 3pt clears pto drive shaft on a pull type hay cutter. I pulled up on the 3pt draft links and they rose about 6-8 inches so I know rockshaft cylinders aren't at their upper limit. Thanks,Jim

Hook your lift links arms to the hole closest to the tractor on your lift arms for maximum lift heights; there are three holes.

There is an adjustment rod that may help. If I remember correctly, lengthening it will allow the 3PH to raise higher.
Test if you adjusted it too far by lifting the 3PH to the top and try to use the FEL.

Thanks for the photo. I'll try to adjust the turnbuckle today.

I adjusted the turnbuckle per your instructions and the 3pt rose high enough to clear the pto on the towed hay cutter. Thanks,Jim

That's what we are all here for. Share a little, learn a lot.

TBN is a nice place to frequent.
