I have thought of using those plugs for work lights too. If you use those plugs, do you need to add a switch between the light and the connector? It is unclear if the plug it always hot or if its tied to another switch (i.e. headlights).
Yes you will need a switch. The plugs become hot when you turn on the key.
I used four 27W LED lights, and two switches mounted in a plastic box attached to the ROPS.
Thanks for the topic was in middle of installing lights when I found it. Made it much easer for me to add lights I did add a switch for each lite. Worked well and now can turn off a lite when looking behind me so I don't get blinded
