Kubota V2203 Engine Alternator, How many poles?

I have a Kubota V2203 engine that has a DENSO 12 volt Alternator on it. I am using this engine in a generator application and am wiring a Tachometer into the alternator. I need to know how many poles this alternator has to set the dip switches correctly. I have looked all over the internet and I can't find this information. The Alternator is just like this one

May be a bit difficult to find. Since the poles are in multiples of 2, I would run the engine at a speed that yopu can estimate to the nearest 100-200 RPM and then try the settings until you hit the right RPM. One step either way will be off by 2:1 so you should be able to judge it.
