This is a question for the diesel mechanics on the forum. The b2320 is rated at 23 hp/17hp pto while the b2620 has 26hp/19hp pto. Both tractors use the same engine. What differences would produce more hp in the b2620?? Would it be larger injectors? Different injector pump?

I know, say with diesel trucks, much can be done to dramatically increase hp and fuel economy, etc

Do tractors such as described above respond to "tuning" mods in the same way??

I can't answer your question but according to the Kubota website the two tractor engines have different model numbers. The 2620 is a D1105 while the 2320 is a D1005,which is the same engine model number for the BX2660 and BX2670.

Kcender. Agree with your engine model comment but if you drill deeper the block and head part numbers are the same

The B2620 has a larger displacement than the B2320, so it must be a longer stroke engine with a different crankshaft, connecting rods, and possibly pistons.

I agree, bore and stroke is the easiest. Probably just the stroke in this case.
