Does anyone know right off what the max loader psi for the 3400,3700,3800 series tractors is? Bought a gage and quick coupler, going to check it tomorrow. Thanks

LA 463 manual says 2347 psi.

Thanks, I dug the book out and it is 2347. What would it hurt to have it at 2500?

Probably won't hurt anything.. I doubt you'll gain enough to really notice a difference though if it's set correctly to begin with. Mine was set right at 2250-2300 psi. I THINK the loader control has it's own relief valve, so if you increase that you still may not be able to get to 2500 if the main relief is set below that point.

Sean, There were 3 shims, all were the same thickness so I removed on and added on that checked .09 thicker and it is dead on 2500 at the loader control valve. At best it was 2200 before. Maybe all in my mind, I think it is better, it seemed like it was stronger when I ran it into a dirt pile I been playing with.

Which valve did you change the shim in? The one under the floorboards?

Only about 795 lbs of push force on the cyl x 2 = 1590 lbs

You should know what your pump max psi is rated at, and set it to about 50 to 100 psi below that.
