Does anyone have any pictures of how the wiring was installed and routed to the joystick on your Kubota factory 3rd function valve? I just got mine installed from the dealer and the wiring doesn't seem to be routed the way I expected. I will take some pictures of mine tomorrow for comparison.

What do you need to see?

This is what the wiring looks like on my dealer installed Kubota factory 3rd function valve on my open station L4240. Seems like too much exposed wire to me. I was thinking wire should be routed under the tractor and up through the console that houses the joystick and the 3pt lever.

Does anyone else have this installed like this?

I just installed the 3rd function valve on my 7040. The wires fit inside the loader valve boot then are supposed to be routed under the tractor. Whoever installed your valve did not know what he was doing. I'll get more pics if you need me to, let me know.

I don't have a good pic available right now, but the wiring on my open station 5740 follows the loader arm right through the boot at the base and is routed under the control cowling from there. The dealer had to make a about a 1/4 inch slit in the boot to allow it to fit, but it looks very clean.

Here is the installation instructions showing to cut a small notch in the boot, and running wires thru the boot.

Hard to see, but this is the wire harness under the tractor. I secured it using zip ties.

Do you need just the electrical portion?

Do you need just the electrical portion?

Yes I think that would be enough to make sure I have something to show my dealer that it is not installed properly.

I went out to use the tractor this afternoon and now the hydraulic connection at the 3rd function valve under he tractor is leaking badly. A full stream of fluid. Looks like a faulty connection. Looks like the 3rd function installation was a bust for the dealer on this one....

Appreciate your help.
