FINALLY got my ballast box
Been looking for months; found a Craigslist deal for $100.00. Added 3 60 lb. Quickrete bags, a few accessories, threw a coat of rust oleum on it and I am thrilled. Question: is it ok to leave it on the 3pt without something supporting it - I don't want to stress anything of course.

Re: FINALLY got my ballast box
You should let the pressure off of the hydraulics when not in use, you may have to set a cinder block under it if it wont touch the ground. Looks good!

Nice job. Innovative. I agree with talkng the pressure off the 3-point when not operating.

Re: FINALLY got my ballast box
It would look even cooler with an orange paint job! Maybe paint the tubes black....thanks for sharing, it has given me some inspiration for my ballast build.
