Filled the tank with diesel - almost to the brim. Ran the tractor for 8 hours mwoing, but the gauge won't move off empty and the tank is only half full. When I turn it off, the gauge goes to E, but once back on, it goes all the way to full. Any recommencations?

You may have a loose ground wire on sensor. My WSM manual shows a ground wire and a wire with a plug in connector going to the sensor. Check that these connections are good. Sensor is on left side towards the rear of tractor when sitting in seat. Will be covered with sheet metal. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have a freind with the same problem. He chose not to have it fixed after his experiences with the dealer (on delivery) left him very unhappy. Gotta be simple. Go easy on wiggling the tank. Mine started leaking after my dealer installed the loader. They fixed it (new tank as I recall).
Could be ground as was stated.
