Kubota HST Side-by-Side Pedal Modification

Hello fellow Kubota owners.I have a Kubota B3030 HSDC tractor with the treadle style HST foot pedal.Does anyone know of a modification that will allow side-by-side pedal configuration for forward and reverse?I am having trouble lifting my right leg to activate the rocker style foot control.I love this tractor and do not want to sell it to get this arrangement.Thanks for any help and Merry Christmas.

Don't know of one, but someone on here had made a hand control for theirs (had a leg problem). That may work...

Thanks for the reply.Hand control might not be ideal since it would prevent simultaneous operation of the loader joystick.I'll try to find it and check it out though.

Good luck, I use pull straps and a shortened can for some controls on mine, but my left leg is bad not right which makes it easier.

Thanks TripleR for taking the time to post those links and props to you for finding a way to help with your disability. I was recently diagnosed with MS and at the moment my greatest challenge is lifting my right leg which makes it hard to operated the treadle.I will take a closer look at the linkage later today to see what I can come up with.

I am sure there is a way. My brother lost his right leg and had his car fitted with an adapter that clamped to the accelerator so he could use his left foot on the brake and accelerator.

There are several TBN members with prosthetic limbs, strokes etc. and maybe they can come up with some ideas. Here is a modification Waxman came up with to make it easier to get on and off my tractor, he added a second step, my brother used his pattern. 4shorts is helping me add an air ride seat by modifying the seat base, both are amazing fabricators and really great guys.

Of course you do know you could swap in the 'bota for a Kioti DK series with the side by side pedals if that would help.. it is still orange!
It took me about a day to transition from the Kubota pedal to the 2 side by sides, but I get along equally well with either now.
The Kioti is a good machine too.

On my B2400, I sometimes just slip my toe under the forward peddle and lift up to back up. Not knowing your pedal arrangement will that work for you?

I used to be able to do this,not so much anymore.
