I pulled the tractor out yesterday for the first time in a week. Temp outside about 75F. (Had to brag... since some people are starting to feel the cold up North). I put the tractor in high range, 4wd off, and push the pedal down. As I am travelling, I start to notice this hissing noise. I adjust the three point thinking it was hydraulic, but nothing. I adjust the FEL and I still hear the noise. The noise would subside as I let off the pedal though. It would only happen when I had the pedal over 1/2 pushed down. After 20 minutes of operation, the noise went away??? What was it?

Thanks,

Joe

Have the filters been changed and the oil serviced properly. I have to ask!

Yes, but the tractor is at 192 hours, so it is 8 hours from another service interval. Should I do the service now?

You could have had oil breakdown being that close to a change. What do you have in there for oil? What year is the tractor? Is the oil milky at all?

30W oil, and it's a 2001, but I will look at the oil again.
