I've just picked up a barn queen - a little Kubota B5100 4wd w/ a box blade and a FEL w/ less than 400 hours on the clock. The FEL subframe doesn't quite fit this tractor, so I'm working on a new subframe, along with adding a front mounted hydraulic pump. I'll end up moving the tractor to the San Juan Islands for use on our place there, which is mostly just woods.

Welcome to TBN and thanks for adopting and caring for the orphan - 400 hrs is a lot of not being used!

We love our B5100. I bought the B2320 to replace it, but my wife got upset when I started trying to sell it.
Turns out I did right by listening to her because it's the perfect machine for pulling our 4x6 trailer, which is the perfect size for filling with the B2320 FEL.
So together they make moving soil & mulch in tight areas quick and painless.

I'm really jealous that you got an FEL on yours & curious to see what it looks like.
Any chance you can post a few pics? Does it have a working front PTO?

Well, I'd post some pictures, but for some reason the file upload keeps failing. Can I not post pics in this forum?

The front PTO is just a 18mm spline on my tractor coming right off the engine. I'll use that (w/ a $100 chain coupling sprocket ) to drive my hydraulic pump.

The other things I'm working on is a small logging arch and I'm looking for a post-hole digger.
