There is a large cap behind the injector pump marked "oil". I can not find any reference to this cap in the owners manual. Is this a second way to put oil in the crankcase (As opposed to the cap on the valve cover)? Does the injector pump get oil from the engine?

On my tractor is is where you are supposed to put the oil, not the valve cover. There is a plug on the valve cover, but it does not look easily removed nor is it supposed to be.

My L2800 has two oil fills, one on the side, I believe where yours is, that can be a pain with the loader attached and one on the valve cover.

I've always added oil through the valve over on my BX

I had a B2620 and the oil was added through the valve cover opening.
