Hi all,
Due to time constraints, logistics and the big bite of the B3000's LA403's FEL's lifting capacity that is taken out by adding a standard SSQA, I'm trying to get my head around using Kubota's (much lighter and less expensive) "pin on" QA system for the FEL.
But my main reservation is, it's my understanding that the longest pallet forks I can get that are compatible with this system are only 32".
Yet a person in the business told me "Oh, sure...you can get longer forks than 32"."
Well, I'd like to ask the Collective here if they can (hopefully) verify that for me, and link me to versions of such forks (I don't care if they're not Kubota-brand, as long as they "pin on" to Kubota's proprietary, lightweight FEL's QA system).
And while we're at it, while I'm fairly familiar with ATI's standard SSQA system, I know beans about Kubota's own QA system, which I understand is "pin-on retrofitable" to the LA403.
Can anyone confirm the above?
And better yet, list part numbers (and rough cost?) for Kubota's own, lightweight, LA403-compatible QA system?
And for forks longer than 32", that are compatible with it?
And the rough cost of compatible forks longer than 32" (if anyone knows--if not, I'll just call the vendor/dealer of any links supplied)?
Or even the (rough) cost of Kubota's own 32" forks (not that they really do what I need them to)?
And just so I'm clear: Kubota's lightweight, proprietary QA, compatible with the LA403 FEL, is a complete "pin-on" job, right?
Any help will be greatly appreciated, as I'm running into a time crunch, soon.
And I don't mean to constantly have my (metaphorical) hand out for help, here, but the sooner I can resolve this issue, the sooner my B3000 HSDCC can get delivered, and I can POST PICS for everyone!
Thanks much,
My Hoe
