I would like to replace the turnbuckles on my B2920 with telescopic stabilizers. Where have people bought those recently? I read quite a few posts about the ones M Hodges made, but his web site is down.

Also read a few posts about some from Tractorsmart.com, but I couldn't find them on their web site.

Thanks for any help,
Howard

Does Kubota sell them for the B2920? They do for the B2650, though that's a little bigger tractor. You could probably look at pics of a B2650 and get an idea if they would work on a B2920.

When I bought some for my L3200, I got them from Kubota and they were about $175 if I remember right.

If your talking about what fits the B7610 ALSO:

$130?? I thought you needed to by the whole B2910 3-point hitch assembly and the cost was like $700.

What are the part numbers you need for the minimal turnbuckle to Telescoping arm change? I am very interested. Thanks

As you can see there are only a few big pair of parts that might be considered "critical"
Two of them are available at Messicks:
Kubota: BRACKET,STABILIZ, Part # 6C070-65310 | Messick's
Kubota: PIPE,STABILIZER, Part # 6C070-65320 | Messick's

My dealer told me what to order. My B7500 had the turnbuckle (horrible) and I bought telescoping stabilizer for another model. Can't remember the model but a good parts department should know.

I would think the telescoping stabilizer on the B2601 would work.

Ended up emailing Messicks and they confirmed most of the part numbers above. It appears that the telescopic stabilizer on the 2910 will work on my 2920. I ordered the parts form Messicks thios morning; all were instock and will be shipped today.

I also swapped a couple of emails with Mark Hodges. He still makes them, but he is extremely busy and is running about 4 wks from order time to ship time. I will point out that the Kubota prices posted above have increased and are now about $90 more than the price Mark quoted me.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions,
Howard

I have purchased 2 sets from Mark Hodges over the past dozen or so years. The first set was for our B5100 and a few years later a 2nd set for our B2320, based on how well the first set worked. They completely erased my dread of swapping implements on both tractors and they are both still going strong. Changing implements with the old turnbuckles used to eat up a lot of time and seemed to always involve 2 or 3 attempts wrestling with an angry badger before everything was hitched, leveled, aligned and ready to go back to work in our vegetable plots.
The telescopic stabs that were standard on our first tractor, an L3240, had spoiled me before we got the B5100 and B2320. Luckily for me, some B6100 and B7100 owners on TBN had mentioned having good results using Mark's Stabilworks on their tractors.

Mark is a real stand-up guy, very easy to work with and his craftsmanship shines in what he makes. They are well worth the wait, if you can suffer the badger for just a few weeks longer.

PS - Thanks, Ed ke6bnl, for posting that link - glad to see that Mark's still at it!
