Just thought i would share a experience i had with my new -200 hrs L45
i noticed the 4N1 bucket was acting a little weird, the operation was delayed and at time for lack of a better term "jumpy". i continued to operate it as the condition would come and go until it quit working in one direction all together.
i traded the lines and the function would work in reverse, so i went to the electrical aspect
i found the connectors under the deck for the switch and tore down the handle, i used a meter and measured the resistance of the ckt from the handle to the connectors, 3 of the 4 wires were open.
i pulled the plastic protective cover off the wires and found a spot in the wires that looked suspect, flat, as i pulled each wire they strung out and broke. the wires were broke inside their jacket, a few heat shrink but connectors later and all was working again. the 4th wire that had tested good was also about to break so a repair was made there also.
i suspect when the dealer installed the handle they pulled way to hard on the wires to get them in the handle.
maybe this will help someone down the road
