Why two oil drain plugs?
Doesn't it seem like 200 between changes from here on seem like too long?
Hydraulic filter is a bear with sub frame on but you can
5.7 quarts is a lot on this 4 cyl vs three quarts on bx
It's funny how recommended maintenance schedules from one tractor is so different from another

Two drain plugs-the oil pan is shaped to clear the front driveshaft.
Both drain plugs are needed to drain all the oil from both sides.
4.3 quarts on my B3030 is changed at 100 hour intervals.
Good Luck with your new machine!

Kubota is nothing if not meticulous about engineering. I'm willing to bet that the maintenance schedule is data driven for each drive train.

On my B3350 the engine oil and filter is to be changed at the first 50 hours and then every 200 hours. Hst filters replaced at 50, 200, 400 and 600 hours. Hydraulic filter replaced at 400 hours with a tranny fluid change at 400 and 800 hours. Not sure if this agrees with yours as mine is turbo and may require different frequencies. IMHO, follow the book for your piece of equipment and don't cheap out on the filters. Not worth saving a couple of bucks on a very expensive machine.

I was trying to compute 200 hours /if this was a truck going 55 how many miles is that
Im thinking 100 hour changes be better .whats everyone think is that a waste of money?

At a 6000 mile interval for oil changes at 50 mph would be 120 hours. However I think industrial engines are most always based on hours run. I'll bet one of the others folks on here knows a lot about that.
