Got any pictures of your setup? Sounds interesting.
Here is mine. Photo of it when building a new deck and using the old gearbox and stump jumper. I had them change it from a single rear wheel to a dual to help keep it level AND help carry the 1500# load.

I don't think I do. I'll see if I can get some today if it's not raining too much around here.

I put one in and one out on the equipment I use that's awkward to slide around. Makes no difference in loads, trail angle, or side loading.

My Kuhn rake came with a set of Cat-1 pins out and Cat-2 pins inward. No need to change for different tractors.

Typically face inward for Cat 1 and outward for Cat 2.

Cat 2 pins are bigger than Cat 1 pins.

Easiest hitching?

Hitch the LEFT arm first using 3pt control to position it at you back up. Put it on. Line up the RIGHT arm fore and aft and then use the levelling crank to get it on. Once on, return to level. Then put TOP link on, using the movement and adjustment to get the pin in, then adjust to proper length. Great thing out most Cat 1 implements, you can man handle them somewhat to line things up.
