Looking at upgrading to the 2670. Looks to be built a little cheaper. Front axle seems smaller and mowing deck appears to be thinner metal. Anyone have any thoughts in comparing these two models?

I looked at the 1800 first, years ago. I decided I wanted a B- series as it was a heavier and more capable unit. I can't say that after 3 B-series, and 2 BX's, I agree. The decks on the larger BX's, which are typically 54" or 60" spec thicker. If you want to see tiny front axles, look at the comparable John Deere. Kubota is still larger than the competition I've seen on axles.
Keep in mind, the 1800 is the baby of the quad group... 18xx, 23xx, 26xx, or BXxx.

I've about talked myself out of it. My 1800 only had a little over 600 hrs on the clock and still looks new. Right now it's not worth the 10 k for a newer model.

Why not the 2370? I was going to get the 1870 but went with the 2370 due to the similar cost. I don't regret it at all.

If you already have the BX1800 what is making you want to upgrade? What is it not able to do for you? 600hrs and if well taken care of is young.

My nephew was wanting to buy my 1800 and I was just kicking around buying one with the bigger engine. The local dealer helped change my mind lol. The 1800 is a great little machine and has had only one problem with the ps.

There was the BX1500 for a short time as well. They never made a BX1530 or anything else after they killed that one off.

The BX1500 was real tiny, 2 cylinder and shorter.

The BXxx00 and BXxx30 had pretty much same frames drive train and decks the 50 60 and 70 series started getting cheaper and thinner on things with more plastic.
