B7610 Hyd/HST Filters

I searched high and low (on the forum) for the correct filters for my HST/Hyd filters. I thought I had it nailed but things did not work out. Kubota Parts shows the two filters to be: hh660-36060 and hh670-37710. NAPA crosses to 1361 and 1551. I purchased the two NAPA Gold filters but they turned out to be the wrong size. The two filters on my tractor are original. The one on the right side is 4.5"X3" and the left side is 4"X3". The Napa 1361 is 3.75"X3" and the 1551 is 5"X3.5". I haven't removed the originals so I can't tell whether the threads and seals match up but the larger NAPA filter (1551) doesn't look like it'll fit due to it's larger diameter. I don't have a Kubota dealer nearby but I have complete confidence in the NAPA filters as long as they will fit. On my NAPA invoice the 1361 (the smaller one) is listed as an oil filter and the 1551 is listed as a hyd filter. Does anyone have any advice? I actually thought the filters would be the easiest thing about this project because my forum search had been mainly to determine which drain plugs needed to be opened and all else related to the Hyd oil change. The Operator's manual is not the most complete or helpful.

I used Wixfilters.com to double check your part numbers. Napa uses Wix filters and if you precede the NAPA PN with a 5, you have the Wix PN. Example: NAPA 1361 = Wix 51361.

Using Messick's and Kubota.com confirmed your Kubota PN's are correct.

When using the cross-reference feature on Wix's web site, it would not cross the HH670-37710. The other crossed to 1361 (NAPA) or 51361 Wix).

Approaching it a different way on Wix's website this time using "vehicle selection" method, it found the 51361 and 51551. Strange it found it this time...

Even Messick's refers to one as a hydraulic filter and the other an oil filter.

For what it is worth, WIX has detailed information about the filter specifications, dimensions, micron size, thread size, gasket dimensions, etc...


Added in Edit: Check Baldwin filters and the Kubota PN crosses to B113 and BT8902. B113 look like the same general dimensions as the WIX, but the BT8902 has a different thread size. Wix 1-12 and Balwin M20-1.5. Baldwin crossed the hydraulic filter directly.

Thanks, I kept looking and found the Baldwin BT8902. It looks like the one I need. NAPA shows it also. I'll go back and return the 1551 and pick up the Baldwin tomorrow.

I realize this is years late but maybe it will save someone some time.
Wix/Napa lists 2 hydraulic filters. 1 for the tractor, 1 for the backhoe

tractor - Wix WL10285/ Napa 400285
hoe - Wix 51551/ Napa 1551
