BX2230 3pt hitch won\'t come up....

Hi folks

Today while mowing my yard I idled the Bx all the way down and went to raise the deck and noticed it would not rise till I throttled her up. In the past, it has always raised at idle, though very slowly. Now it doesn't come up at all until I goose the throttle. Is this normal, or should I get ole bessie checked out? thanks

I think it's normal on all tractors......... My 2200 does that also......

Same on my BX23. Sometimes it will lift at idle and sometimes it will require a little engine speed. I don't think it is an issue. Lift and drop it a few times and then go to idle. I bet it would lift then. Something tells me it is because the 3 point bleeds down a bit over time and when you go to idle it doesn't have enough pressure to overcome that. Just my guess.
