Your top link isn’t the issue. It’s the brackets on your box blade that are the problem.

Those S shaped brackets are supposed to be almost straight. Did you buy the box blade like this or did you back into something hard?

The top link tower on the BB should stand vertically above the main beam. Very close to a straight up position from the lower arm pins.

Not sure what that's all about??? Is it a new BB?? Maybe go back to the dealer you bought it from with these pictures??

Will be interesting to hear the response. I can't see any way they would have bent in such a beautiful, uniform shape.

Additionally, I can't think of any abusive situation that would bend them like that. Rear of the BB would have been "forced" upward, which is hard to create with a 3pt that won't hold the arms down. :)

The brackets should look like this:) lp_bb12_1.png

Interesting! The top link should lie in the same vertical plane as (or close to) the lower pins. It appears that someone installed the wrong support brackets on the box blade.

I see what you guys mean...did i back it into something? Maybe i did, i dont know how else it would have gotten like that... but the paint does look chipped around where the metal would have bent. Seems like the top link would have bent before those thick metal brackets.

That’s the weak point in most box blades. Mine has started to bend slightly in the same spots.
